The Academic Library: Your Federal Depository Library

The Federal Depository Library Program
"This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government Documents. Public Access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law." (Title 44 United States Code).
The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was established by Federal law (Title 44, U.S. Code, Section 19). The Academic Library is a selective Federal Depository Library, receiving approximately 22% of available publications. Selections are made to meet the needs our parent institutions and the people of our Fourth U.S. Congressional District.
We provide free, public access to Federal government information in a variety of formats. We provide access to documents received through the Program and FDLP partnerships, and to the FDLP Basic Collection. Librarian assistance is also available, free of charge.
