The Federal Depository Library Program
"This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government Documents. Public Access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law." (Title 44 United States Code).
The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was established by Federal law (Title 44, U.S. Code, Section 19). This library is a selective Federal Depository Library, receiving approximately 20% of available publications. Selections are made to meet the needs our parent institutions, our community, and the people of our Fourth U.S. Congressional District.
We provide free, public access to:
- Federal government information in a variety of formats
- Documents received through the Program and its partners
- The FDLP Basic Collection.
- Librarian assistance, free of charge (see contact information, at right)
